Configuration Management of Shareable Courseware Objects

Not only does Integrator® Professional provide complete analysis, design, delivery and life-cycle maintenance of sharable courseware objects at any level of granularity, it also provides a complete customization, decision support and configuration management environment. Customization of databases and interfaces allows users to build their own database structures, custom dialogs for entering data, and custom interfaces for delivery or accessing content.

The product’s management features allow the user to create the database structures and underlying management system to meet the specific requirements of a project or the entire enterprise. It allows the user to quickly identify the impacts of changes in product, project or organization and manage the impact of change.

The decision support features provide standard decision support algorithms and structures. It will also allow the user to either customize the existing algorithms or create their own algorithms to meet the specific requirements of their organization.

Configuration management in Integrator® Professional provides revision control and a complete audit trail of all changes. All data is managed in the Integrator® Exchange Library (IXL) in accordance with industry specifications and XML standards.

LEARNERS
Integrator® Professional will allow learners to customize their own learning portal to receive all relevant updates, courseware and support materials based on their individual learning plan, position, responsibilities, area of operation and/or need to know.

“My Assistant” is an example of just one way in which the Integrator® Professional technology can be deployed on any desktop or wireless device. “My Assistant” can be customized based on user preferences and can automatically:
• deliver content based on my job, project, operational area, interests and career goals,
• push information down to me based on my preferences and/or time critical “need to know” situations,
• search for and get any resource, policy, procedure, schematic, graphic, video, tutorial, reference, update, parts list, etc.,
• update information on every desktop or wireless device as soon as changes occur, and
• adjust to my desktop or wireless device and to the available bandwidth.

INSTRUCTORS
Integrator® Professional can assist Instructors create their own lesson plans quickly and easily. It will allow Instructors to select and sequence courseware including presentations, graphics, technical publications, assignments, simulations, tests, activity packages etc. that are most relevant to the outcomes and objectives of their target audience. All content and media are automatically linked to the lessons, objectives, job tasks, processes, etc.

DEVELOPERS
Integrator® Professional will help assure that all developers’ training, documentation and support media are available either before or at the same time each new product or upgrade is released. It can also help manage the life-cycle maintenance issues by allowing the user to see the impact of changes at the design stage, make the changes faster, and have the changes on the desktop of every customer either before or on the same day the new product/upgrade was released.

MANAGERS
Integrator® Professional will allow managers to examine budgets and performance based on their specific requirements. Requirements can include mission readiness, processes, systems, competencies, business units, communities, programs, classes, etc. The product will improve performance and mitigate liability because it automatically tracks usage, user profiles, competencies, certifications, needs, demands, etc. and will produce a complete audit trail.

E-LEARNING
Integrator® Professional provides easy access to and customization of content for knowledge management, e-learning or performance support systems at any level of granularity. It allows the user to change the content or the entire database structure and have that change available immediately on every desktop and wireless device.
